Record of David Casto ~1715-~1770 marrying Phoebe Gandy in 1752 is just one record placing them there.
Text Box: By 1820, Castos are living in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virgina (WV), Ohio, and Indiana.  At this time period, all of Davidís descendents are in Virginia and the Castos in other states are descendents of William 1717.

Text Box: By 1900, Castos have been found in all the same states as 1850, as well as Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming.  The largest concentration of Castos is still in West Virginia by far.  Immigrant Castos have come from England, Wales, Canada, Cuba, & Italy (those states not included).
