These are just a few of the pieces of information I have acquired which show the early NJ footprints of the Casto family. This first one I frequently use to show how the original Casto name had three syllables or ended in “lo” in early records. It was shown in various records as Costelow, Costabow, Coustlo, etc. This is why I was not surprised when the DNA tests showed connections to the Costello family in Ireland! |
